About Amy
Welcome
Hi there, I’m Amy!
I am a Licensed Practical Nurse, and I have been practicing for 7 years. My experience spans acute care and endoscopy. What I cherish most about nursing is the connections and relationships I am privileged to experience and create. By forging trusting relationships with my patients, they confide in me and share things about themselves, their lives, and their health that they may not have had the chance to discuss with their doctors.
I have come to realize that our healthcare system tends to focus more on alleviating symptoms rather than addressing the root causes, thus neglecting the overall well-being of each individual. This realization has motivated me to explore holistic health. Holistic health considers the person as a whole, taking into account how our systems collaborate. When one system functions inefficiently, it affects the harmony of our entire body. This philosophy perfectly resonates with the way I intend to approach my nursing practice.
This opportunity with The Holistic RN & Co. feels like true fate. I can’t wait to start this new adventure with you.

A little about me…
I was born and raised here in Red Deer, where I have spent the majority of my life. I am a proud mother to two wonderful boys named Preston and Isaac. My partner and I have been together for an impressive 11 years and our family is complete with our four legged fur baby Bella.
Whether it’s gliding down the slopes on a snowboard, peacefully paddling across the water on a paddle board, taking leisurely walks, or exploring new paths on a bike, I am in my element when outside in nature. Camping offers my family and I a way to disconnect from the hustle and immerse ourselves in nature. In quieter moments you’ll often find me cuddled up with a good book and hot cup of tea! Yoga is by far one of my favourite ways to move my body and I enjoy practicing it daily.
I am deeply passionate about essential oils, which have become a central part of my lifestyle. I’ve chosen to incorporate these oils as an alternative to some Western medicine, gradually transitioning to a household with fewer toxins and lessening our chemical foot print. This practice aligns with my commitment to fostering a healthier, more wholesome environment for my loved ones and myself.

My mission is to offer my support to women who are grappling with challenges like acne, hormonal acne, hormonal imbalances, and irregular periods. I want to help Women acquire the knowledge needed to provide optimal care for themselves throughout the different phases of their menstrual cycle.
My focus extends beyond the physical aspects. I strive to boost confidence and dispel the insecurities that often accompany acne and hormonal acne. Through a holistic approach to health and wellness, I am committed to bio-individualized support. I consider it most important to listen and learn from each client, ensuring they take the lead in their health journey.
Rather than merely treating symptoms, I am determined to investigate into the root causes of these challenges. My approach involves developing daily healthy habits that go beyond the need for excessive medication. By having a collaborative and empowering relationship, I aspire to bring about positive transformations in the lives of the women I work with.
